- Marshmallows - You can use any brand of medium size marshmallows. For example, Princess (UK), Pascal (Aus) and Kraft Jet-Puffed Marshmallows (USA).
- Chocolate - Use a block of chocolate or chocolate chips/drops. Milk or dark chocolate both work well.
- Smarties - If you can't find smarties any small sugar-coated chocolate beans will work. (e.g M&Ms) Alternatively, you could use small round jellies such as Jelly Tots.
Step By Step Instructions
- Melt chocolate - Use your preferred method of melting chocolate. I use the microwave. Break the chocolate into similar sized pieces and place in a microwavable bowl. Microwave, stirring the chocolate every 15 seconds until the chocolate is melted. Be careful not to get any water into the chocolate as this will cause the chocolate to seize.
- Add a spoonful of melted chocolate to each mini-cake case - you just want to add enough to cover the bottom.
- Add Marshmallow - Place 1 marshmallow, the widest side down, into each party case.
- Top with chocolate - Place a little bit of chocolate on each marshmallow.
- Add Smarties - Place the Smarties or equivalent on top of the tiny bit of chocolate.
